Linesman disappearing forever? Perhaps.
Ivan Rovonov, the richest man alive, has funded every stadium in the Premier League to get camera controlled offside deciders to completely wipe out controversial offside decisions. These very expensive, high tech pieces of equipment will potentially remove linesmen. These machines are placed on a bar and the camera follows the last defender on each side of the pitch. There will be six in each stadium. Two for offside decisions and two in each goal post to show two angles to make sure the right decision is made undoubtably every time. The decision the machine makes gets given to a person monitoring them and he uses a head set to tell the referee. This invention will make cheating, diving and wrong decisions disappear forever.
Scandal!!!
What has football come to these days? I remember when football was a beautiful game played and watched by people who had fallen in love with it. This story will certainly change your view on those last minute comebacks and lucky goals scored by the underdogs. There has been controversy in the premier league with MATCH FIXING occurring.
Top teams in the premier league such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspurs and Queens Park Rangers. The worst case of match fixing that has been investigated and admitted was on purpose, was the famous comeback by Manchester City in the final match in last seasons extremely close title race. The season came down to the last game when Manchester City owners payed the entire QPR team and manager to let them score 2 in the last few minute goals to crush the dreams of Manchester United with a cruel sucker punch. Other games that were investigated have also been admitted as match fixing by owners and managers. One example of this was Arsenal vs Norwich when Wojciech Tomasz Szczęsny the Arsenal number 1 keeper who got payed an unnamed sum which was said to be above £20,000 to let goals in against Norwich. Norwich only had one shot which he let in but the final score was 2-1 which was lucky for Szezsny due to Arsene Wenger telling the press if his team lost and Szezsny was being payed to let in goals he would be dropped without pay instantly.
