Today we have something special, an interview with the lower leagues brightest prospect, Luke Marsh. The boy wonder as he is known in Harpenden has bagged 24 goals in his last 12 outings and last week we caught up with him to find out the recipe for his success.
Q: What helps you to score the most? Your team mates or just your individual skill?
A: I don't think I should take all the credit for the goals I have scored this season. My team mates deliver some of the best crosses and through balls I have seen, in to me and I guess its easy from there. So I have to say my team mates because if they weren't there to back me up then I wouldn't have scored every goal for my team this season.
Q: When you scored the goal from inside your own half against Luton Town, Did you mean to do it and How did it feel?
A: Well, I have to say I meant it 100% because I saw the keeper standing by his goal getting the crowd cheering and well, that is a dream for a striker on form like me and I just decided to float it towards the goal. To my relief the keeper spotted it just to late and it bobbled in to the far corner. When I scored it I was so pleased due to it being the furthest distance shot to hit the net for over 30 years so I was far from unhappy to see my name on all of the signs and banners the following few games.
Q: You have a 100% free kick to goal record. How are your free kicks so consistent?
A: Urrm. I believe that the key to free kick taking is getting curve on the ball to make the keeper unsure of where you have hitting it. What I aim to do when taking them is I use Cristiano Ronaldo's free kick taking technique which is hitting it with your laces but keeping your foot straight which puts top spin on the ball to get it to dip and curl.
Q: If you had to give a few tips for the up and coming players on how to score as much as you do what would they be?
A: I think that the key to scoring goals is getting along well with your team mates, having good understanding of where they are on the pitch and the way they play and most of all hard work. The main tip I would give is that you just need to keep at it and practice as much as you can. Although you need to practice hard, you need to make time for your studies because mangers aren't going to want to have players that don't understand tactics and cant put thier playing styles into words to tell the scouts and the others players if you do get lucky in the interview stage.

After the 6-2 thrashing of Southdown Chargers our man on the scene caught up with him after the game to ask him about how he felt the game went and how he feels the season is going for him and his team.
Q: Some people say that Luke Marsh is the only reason your team are succeeding, Do you think this is true?
A: Luke is a great player and is us as midfielders dream to play with due to his touch and pace. He has got a great scoring record and is one of the best finishers I have ever seen and played with. Although he is all of this, I don't think for a second he is the ONLY reason we are doing well this year. All of our teams midfield players aim for him when passing the ball through and today this was shown hugely by me getting 4 assists and Oscar Bolton getting the remaining two. This I suppose shows that he is getting the best support and were giving him easy opportunities although some goals he makes all by him self.
Q: Southdown had 7 more shots on target than you. Do you think Adam Roche in goal made the difference today besides the 6 goals scored by your team?
A: I think that we have been very lucky have Adam in a team for the last few years. He used to be our left winger but due to the freak injury to our previous keeper which meant he could never play football again, we had no time to find a new keeper. So Adam stepped up. With the game today I think he a had an average game really. He rarely makes mistakes and he saved so many of the shots today we didn't expect him to save every shot that was taken at him. So I think that he was a big part of why and how we won today and keep winning.
